error sending IM

Postby ivicako » Tue Feb 09, 2010 1:26 am

Dear Support,

If i try to send an IM from my Eyebeam to another person having same version of the software (eyeBeam_Win32_1104a_54436), following error message appears:
"The person you are sending messages to is using an earlier version of eyeBeam, which does not support rich text and emoticons. You may have to send some of your messages again.
Error: Method Not Allowed."

Do you know any workaround or suggestion how to resolve above issue? Thank you in advance!

Sounds like the server that you are connecting to does not support SIP_SIMPLE for IM and presence.

Dear all

We have Problem using Blueotooh based headset in connection with Eyebeam. The user can't take the call from the Headset directly. It is only possible with mouse on the off-hook of the phone. Although after this, user is able to hear and speak on the headset. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

We do not support the use of Bluetooth buttons in eyebeam.
This feature is coming to Bria 3 soon.

-Hi Mr. Jacobs,

Ok, the subject was wrong but i did understood. What a pity that some of the basic functions are not working even in the paid version (Eyebeam). I could understand if this is the case with x-lite but. Apart of this another issue has been found with Eyebeam and Windows7, which as I saw was already reported to you in this forum. The issue is that the imported Company list is not acessable and useless for the users having Windows 7 as OS. Another fact is that the "old" UI is still used for Eyebeam. Are there any plans to introduce new skin (as in newest xlite version)? Can you please tell when the new release is planned to be released?

There are no changes planned for eyeBeam other than to make it functional under Win 7 without having to use compatibility mode.

If you are looking for the X-Lite 4 interface, please purchase Bria 3.
