PREREQUISITE
- i. We assume that you have configured your Router's settings accordingly
ii. You have created a peer to use for this device. Creating a Peer for Softphones
STEP 1 - Access menu
Start X-Lite and access "Show Menu"
STEP 2 - Peer/trunk configuration
Click on "SIP Account Settings"
STEP 3 - Add a SIP account
Click on "Add"
STEP 4 - Configuration of your peer/trunk
- A. If you specify a Caller ID, it will only be used if "Device : Inherit caller ID from device of PBX" is enabled under the "Caller ID" tab of your peer/trunk configuration from your VoiceMeUp account.
B. Type in your SIP peer Username previously typed in STEP 3.B of "Creating a Peer for Softphones" guide.
C. Type in your SIP peer Password previously typed in STEP 3.E of "Creating a Peer for Softphones" guide.
D. Type in again your SIP peer Username.
E. Type in the SIP Proxy Addres previously selected in STEP 3.D of "Creating a Peer for Softphones" guide.
