new to Bria...question on dialing long distance

Postby leawood » Wed Oct 21, 2009 11:25 am

I am new to using Bria. We have a Mitel 3300, which requires a prefix, plus 7-digit authorization code in order to make long distance calls . Is this something that Bria is capable of handling? And, if so, how do I go about configuring that? As an example, to make a long distance call, one would need to dial: 7, + 7-digit pin, then #. Then you would dial the 10-digit number (7, pin # 1-508-xxx-xxxx). can this be done using Bria. I tried unsuccessfully to get it to work.

thank you in advance for any information you can give me.

Does the dialing require a pause between the access code and dialing the number?
Can you manually enter all of the digits and have the call complete?

Well, we dial the access code, and then the # sound, dial tone is returned, and then we dial the number.the # sign is the pause.
I've manually entered all the digits, but it looks like it's only dialing the 7, then the access code.

Yes.. There is no pause command available from the dial URI.
It will not work without manual intervention.
