I am having the same issues. Except in my case, X-lite Beta 4.0 recognizes a bluetooth headset, but the headset gets no audio, and the mike does not input anything to the app. Essentially, it auto-recognizes the device as the default mike and speaker devices, yet the device is dumb.
In the production version of X-Lite, a USB phone when picked up will present a dial tone on the handset, and the keypad will issue DTMF when the phone buttons are pressed. With the Beta, the phone will be recognized as the default audio device. Yet, the device will not ring, the keypad does not work, and the handset switch is not being recognized, despite the fact that the handset works properly.
Just my 5 cents..
