Notifications hangs video call session

Hello

When I am in a video call session with the iphone horizontally, if a notification pops-up, the video screen switches 2 times vertically, causing freezes on both parties.
Is it possible to inform me about / implement an option to put notifications in background during a video call ?

Unfortunately, iOS doesn't allow us to control the behavior of the notifications.
