Hi,
I tried downloading the link to my machine a few times, and the firefox browser alerted me (and deleted) a trojan virus both times from the attachment. I was then unable to double click and run it.
Has the update file been corrupted ?

Not that I know of. I downloaded with Firefox, and got no such warning.

When you double-click an entry in the phone book a chat dialog opens, rather surprisingly. The first purpose of eyeBeam should be to phone, not to chat ....

Got it... the reason for the change is too many people were mistakenly dialing the phone instead of IM'ing. So the behavior was changed.
